See what
people are saying about us:
Joe, we really enjoy your taste in bluegrass music. You have turned
us on to many bluegrass artists. Last year we saw Junior Sisk and
Michael Cleveland. They referred to you as a friend and spoke highly
of you. Your genuine, down-to-earth approach to advertising makes us
want to drive across the state to patronize your sponsors. Your
spots remind us of Paul Harvey, our favorite radio host. Keep up the
good work! -Mike & Melissa
We just had
our annual ice cream social at Center church last Friday and I would
like to thank you and your staff at the station for your help. "The Hymns from the Hills"
show is like a breath of fresh air and
your church announcements are a real blessing for a small church
like mine who is trying to get the word out. Thanks again for all
you do in the local communities with a real local station.
-Matt Barbian
We went over to Dad's house while Joe
was on yesterday and caught the ad with the car radio. Dad was very
pleased, Joe does terrific. We loved the ad, and it looks like it
generated some activity on our website. Thanks for helping us out.
-Vernon Brogan-Park Manager, Lonesome Acres Park
Joe, looking forward to
catching one of your performances this summer, really love your
Radio Ramblers. Just heard “Blue-Eyed Darlin” and love it and look
forward to hearing more tunes. I’m not your typical bluegrass fan,
I’m in my 30’s and really love listening to 1500 all day at work.
Didn’t know your status until I read it on the web site. Nice job,
Joe!! -Ken Sheppard
I was born and raised in
the Alaska. I went to school in Elizabethton, TN and lived in the
Bristol area for over five years. I grew up on gospel, country, and
bluegrass and have always loved classic country music. I am now a
missionary in Senegal, West Africa and I found your program on the
internet. Your program helps me relax in the evenings and feel
closer to home even across the Atlantic in a foreign country. Thank
you for music and your on-line broadcasting. -Mark Mowery
Bucks, you deserve a BIG THANK-YOU for the way you helped your
listeners stay afloat during the effects of last week's "Valentine
Storm." You kept us posted with frequent weather- and
road-condition updates.... and as rough as it was for us all, you
managed to keep up your and our spirits with good humor and extra
"hot" music. Thank you! -The Glasscocks
Joe, we saw you Saturday at the China Buffet in Wilmington and you gave
us tickets for a LaComedia show. Wanted to say thank
you for not only the tickets but everything you have
done for this area. The great music we enjoy, family-oriented
programming and events are certainly refreshing. We are loyal
listeners starting with Bucks in the morning. We enjoy all the
programs including Chubby and Calvin on the weekends. We attend
most of your sponsored activities & will be seeing you this
coming week at the Murphy Theatre and then at the Southern Ohio
Indoor Music Festival. -Wayne and Sheila Fugett
Last Thursday I emailed, asking you to make an announcement
about our church bazaar on Saturday. My dad, who is an avid
listener of your show, heard the announcement and said that
you really played our bazaar up big. We had a great turn-out,
and I'd guess that part of that was due to your announcement.
Thank you, Bucks. I applaud you for your enthusiastic support
of local businesses and events. -Sue
