Bucks Braun Morning Show

Weekdays, 5 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Bucks Braun

One of southwestern Ohio’s most recognizable voices starts the day off right for thousands of loyal listeners with real country music, up-to-the minute news, weather, sports, and plenty of personality. The Dayton Area Broadcasters Hall of Fame welcomed Braun with a special induction ceremony in October 2011. On November 11, 2014 the national organization of Vietnam Veterans of America has made Classic Country Radio’s Bucks Braun a National Honorary Member for Life in recognition of his 25 years emceeing all events at the Dayton Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park, his three awards as Miami Valley Veterans Advocate of the Year, and hosting Classic Country Radio’s “Voice of the Veterans” broadcast each week. He was honored to receive a plaque along with a framed letter from National President of the Vietnam Veterans of America. Braun is extremely grateful but reminds us that this is not about him, but about those who served and sacrificed; about those we owe our freedom to and those who have given us this wonderful American life.

Card Address for Mrs. Brown

Elvie Brown (Mr. Brown) of Riverside, Ohio, listens to Bucks morning show every day with his wife Leona. They are long time listeners (Leona is in her late 80’s and Mr. Brown is in his 90’s!). Leona finds herself in local rehabilitation facility following a recent fall and hospitalization. Her morale is low and Bucks would like to let listeners know where they can send a card to Leona. Thank you for your support!
